Qualification Description
The HLT43015 Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (Physiotherapy - Occupational Therapy) is a Nationally recognised Qualification by RTO Code 21132 Stirling Institute of Australia.
KM Training & Consulting is not the training provider. Their role is to provide marketing and referral services to the RTO.
*The allied health assistance program will train you to assist clients with their rehabilitation exercises including physiotherapy.
Allied health workers assist clients carrying out routine physiotherapy exercises in groups or individually. Other roles include helping to implement general care and assisting with ongoing therapy, as well as working with clients in recreational and leisure activities.
Allied health assistants also support people with disabilities to care for themselves and develop independent living skills.

Type of Study:
Face-to-Face and Self-Directed Learning: This course is delivered face to face in a classroom environment with a combination of interactive workshops in the classroom with opportunities to participate in practical application of skills and knowledge through, practical industry based simulated training activities and workplace participation
Class: Weekly
Duration: Estimated duration of 37 tuition weeks allowing sufficient time to develop the necessary skills and knowledge in each unit.
120 hours work placement in a suitable workplace e.g. aged care, home and community or community service organisation.
Entry Requirements:
To ensure an appropriate learning opportunity, prospective students need to demonstrate a capacity to undertake study at Certificate IV level, this can be demonstrated via the following and be conducted by Stirling Institute of Australia TOID 21132.
Pre-training review to ensure student has the appropriate level of Language Literacy and Numeracy to achieve the competencies. Where a test result is supplied, it must be within the last 12 months.
Basic computer skills.
